Upon buying their home, they immediately started volunteering locally to get to know the town better and do all they can to make it an even better place to live, work, walk, shop and dine. Ben has previously served Boonton on the Planning Board, Police Committee, and the Darress Theater restoration committee, and is an officer of Boonton Elks Lodge #1405 on Cornelia Street. As of the reorganization in 2024, Ben serves as Chair of the Finance Committee in town, and a member of the Economic Committee and Parking Committee.
